K is for Kangaroo

Annastazia just loved doing the letter K and our FIAR story was Katy No Pocket. She really got into this story and loved getting to wear an apron with pockets just like Katy. This week we played with a kaleidoscopic, made king and queen crowns, built king's castles, and colored and glued with the letter K.
Here are the pictures-

Letter I is for Insect!

This past week we did the letter I and it was filled with bugs.  We had lots of fun with new bug cages. Thanks to Uncle Micah who took the kids all over the front and back yard filling their cages with different bugs. Our FIAR story was the Icky Bug Book. We worked on our preschool skills including our first color by number and had a wonderful week. On friday we took a field trip to the city for a playdate with cousins : )

Letter H

It was a really busy week with school because I was also getting ready for a craftshow, but school went great and so did my craftshow.
We had loads of fun for letter H. Our FIAR story was Harry the Dirty Dog and this story really appealed to the kids, especially Zackary. We did "H" activities, same and different, harder mazes, upper and lower cases letter matching, and washed toy dogs after getting them dirty!
Here is our week!

I gave her the letter magnets and she did this all by herself

She loved getting the dogs dirty in the mud!

Cleaning dogs

I didn't have scrub brushes so I gave them big paint brushes

Serious business...they did this over and over lol

Letter G

Well I am a little behind in posting so I will have to post 2 letters today. For "G" we did the FIAR story Three Billy Goats Gruff and I made her a flannel board set to go with the story which she loved. We did activities with the letter "G", worked on dot to dots and mazes, and played with a sticker maker.

Here are pics!

F is for Frog

I am a little late posting last week's school. We did the letter "F" and the FIAR story was The Caterpillar and the Tadpole. It was a a really cute story and we had a lot of fun reading it. Annastazia is always sad to change books because she gets attached to them : )
We bought pet fish at walmart and took care of them each day. She named them Princess and Daddy...(so much for Mommy lol)

We did the the number 14, worked on activities with frogs and learned about life cycles, fingerprints, play-dough critters, and learned to do mazes!
We had a great week :)
The kids are growing so fast I wish I could make time slow down. Zackary is doing awesome since his surgery and is climbing and jumping, Annastazia has turned into such a little lady and lovessss pink, and Rebecka has learned to sit herself up and start crawling. It all makes for a very busy day but I love it : )
Here are some pictures....

Yeah for Worms!

Well it took us 2 weeks to finish the letter "E" due to colds and a craftshow. We really had a lot of fun. Our FIAR story was "Are you my Mother" and we studied eggs, life cycle of a bird, worms, and things to do with the letter "E".
Here is our last 2 weeks pics...

She drew the bird herself  and tried to write the word : )

Very proud of the bird she made

Zackary loves to color!

Daddy did the science lesson with the worms....not mom's favorite to touch  : )
Annastazia loved them and wanted to hold ten worms!

Zackary did not like the worms lol

Zackary was really into this egg thing
Now to get me plans ready for next week.
I have started sewing clothes again and last week I made a shirt for me and a skirt for Annastazia. We both wore them to church today :)
